Burwick Law handled three of the six crypto cases filed in early 2025, including litigation involving the Pump.fun platform and the LIBRA meme token. On January 30, 2025, investor Diego Aguilar filed suit against Pump.fun’s UK operator, Baton Corporation, in New York federal court. The complaint claims Pump.fun collaborated with influencers to promote “unregistered security memecoins,” collecting roughly $500 million in fees from investors. Pump.fun has denied any wrongdoing.
